The Hub

Just finished this one up yesterday. It didn't start out like this intentionally. Rather, it was one of those things that morphed into something else
somewhere along the way.

The magenta shape is the puffy and deeply textured technique like the
heavily-cratered ones. I tried a little different approach
and it's got me hooked to do some more.

It's on an 8 x 10 canvas.

Silver Sunshine

I'm trying some new color combinations and this is the result of the first one. It'd sure be nice if it could generate some actual WARM sunshine. Sigh...

I suppose I shouldn't complain - I mean we have been experiencing
steady temps in the 20s. But somehow, it's just not enough...

Fulmination

I'd really like to start working larger, but all of my bigger substrates
are packed and awaiting transport to Colorado.
Sigh. One of these days....

So, here's another small piece - approx. 6 x 7 inches.

Untraceable

Well, just when I began to hope Spring was sorta thinking
about arriving anytime soon....
we got another 9 inches of snow today. Ugh!!
But then again, it gave me the first chance to work on some art
since before Christmas. Hooray!
I finished this piece and began a few others.

Untraceable measures approx. 6 x 7 inches and is on a substrate of a sort of really thick mat-type board.

Blue River

Mixed media canvas measures 6 x 12 inches.

F-R-I-E-N-D-S

Another 4 x 6-inch mixed media piece.

Tree of Pink

Just a fun mixed media piece I did.
The base is fabric and measures 4 x 6 inches.
It's mounted on board.
